Prevention Point
Prevention Point is a nonprofit public health organization that provides harm reduction services to Philly and the surrounding area. They provide case management, medical care, overdose prevention education, medication assisted treatment, and naloxone distribution. In addition, they offer housing, meals, and mail services for people facing housing instability.
Operation in my Backyard
Founded in 2017, ​Operation in my Backyard advocates for harm reduction by providing free supplies. This includes Naloxone, safer injection supplies, safer smoking supplies, safer sex work supplies, and fentanyl testing strips.
The Everywhere Project
The mission of The Everywhere Project is to expand access to harm reduction services and education across the Philadelphia area through the provision of education and safer use supplies. Given the impact of the drug epidemic on our community, they are committed to reducing the dangers associated with substance use and related risky behaviors.
Center for Addiction Medicine and Policy
The Center for Addiction Medicine and Policy advocates for patients with opioid use and/or any substance use disorder. As they work to improve care for patients ranging social work, emergency medicine, and etc, the group aims to raise awareness about opioid use disorder and enhance treatment within hospitalized care settings.
